JazzBoston is a 501(c)(3) organization with representation from every corner of the city’s diverse jazz community. We are united by a common purpose: to spread the word about Boston’s thriving jazz scene and keep it growing. As an organization primarily focused on service, we are always looking for opportunities to celebrate the many creative musicians who call Boston home.

Our Mission
JazzBoston was formed to bring together everyone who cares about the present and future of jazz in our city to share the challenge and the excitement of carrying Boston’s rich jazz legacy forward. Our mission is to support the city’s jazz community in its broadest sense by:
- Building and serving audiences for jazz music
- Expanding performance opportunities for jazz musicians
- Raising Boston’s profile as a jazz city — a city that is a magnet for jazz fans and musicians from all over the United States and the world.
